I remember that boss. and addition to reddash, that move only instant-kills you when it hits you directly. Direct hit = SQUASH! There are more bosses with moves like that in Sonic Rush.

The 27 seconds help build suspense. This would be great for a fight scene, just make sure the scene is less than 1:30 cuz' that's the length of the main part of the song.
